Test run

Due to circumstances beyond my control, I had to leave my studio at the end of last month, which was a massive inconvenience for me in the middle of wedding season. Nice spaces are hard to come by in Belfast, so I decided to set up a viewing studio in my apartment. This week I finally got it sorted, and today I gave my fancy new projector its first trial run, watching the British Grand Prix.

I love anything with an engine that goes fast, and really enjoy watching any kind of car or motorbike racing, but I've had a big love of F1 since I was a little girl and it'll always be my favourite. It might not always be the most thrilling sport in terms of exciting racing, but there's always a bit of scandal and drama about it. Today there was a string of explosive tyre failures during the race, which made it all a bit more interesting!

The last time I was at the British GP was in 1999, which seems like an awfully long time ago. If wedding bookings allow, I think I'll try to change that in 2014 :)
