Chill day

Although awake at 7:30, spent the morning catching up with admin (plus games on my iPad).
Eventually got dressed around 1:30pm!  
Meet friends at a “tea room” - quintessentially British, cloth napkins, cup & saucer, tea strainer - a wonderful “tea” of crustless (in triangles) sandwiches (cheese, salmon & cream cheese, ham, egg and cheese and pickle) plus Victoria sandwich and Lemmon drizzle together with macarons.  All this with a pot of tea (good selection, loose leaf), followed by scones with cream and jam.  A great atmosphere (music playing softly in the background) and great service.
A perfect afternoon - definitely going back!
