Goldfinch

I almost couldn't believe my eyes, when I saw a goldfinch above the feeder in the morning. I had commented on Joesblips' photo of one just 12 hours earlier with the words "we don't have them". Well, we didn't have them until yesterday.

Spent most of the day chopping firewood with Jussi. We got the rest of the cages filled, so the rest must go to big bags, storage and trailer loads to be delivered straight to customers. The wood is still wet and icy, so hoping for better weather, but not many days without rain next week in the forecast. Today we got everything from a shower of something between snow, hail and slush to sunshine, with temperature up to +4°C.
