Solace

Solace Day 2.

Something I learned quickly during our few hours cruising on day 1, now I am the helmsman photography very much takes the back seat.  The late Mate used to helm so other than at locks I was free to snap away whenever I felt like it.   Now I helm then Clickychick takes over at locks while I work the lock.

So following my usual habit I took a few "just in case" shots before we started off in the morning.  This is Solace tied up before we cast off.  We try to choose moorings out in the country "far from the madding crowds".  This gives us the best chance of seeing wildlife.
