D has left the building

Joe and I went to visit D at lunchtime and he was all dressed and ready to go home. So home we went. He left this drawing for the nurses!

He is still in pain from the op but that is to be expected. Hopefully it will lessen over the next few days. Good to see that he can actually stand up now as before he couldn’t put any weight at all on his left leg and had to use two crutches to get around the house.

We are both very tired so going to have an early night :-)
