Impressions of Batsford

So today I was meant to be attending a photo workshop at Batsford Arboretum featuring abstract techniques, however it was unfortunately cancelled due to insufficient people signing up.  I had already booked accommodation etc. and needed a break, so  proceeded with my plans, including visiting the arboretum.  I even tried out some in-camera double exposures, and playing with the white balance.

This was one of the more successful results featuring one of the magnificent magnolias in bloom.

The extra is of a Loveliness of ladybirds spotted by another visitor who helpfully pointed it out to me.
