Potato

or better: Potatoflower

Potato is Kartoffel in German, but Grumbeer in the Palatinate. It is one of my favorite Pälzisch (Palatinate) words and much more accurate and describing what the potato really is: a Grumbeer is literally a pear of the ground, a ground pear.
Difficult to get this "Grumbeer"thing across to German speaking people - I have no idea why I try to explain that here in English speaking Blipland. Anybody interested?
What we don't have in the Palatinate is the "Couch Potato", but the English version is very common.
