(i cleaned out all of Tom's mountaineering books, carpentry and wood collection books, boat building books - and this lad was so thrilled to have the mountaineering collection - i was thrilled too.  have felt somewhat guilty of letting this so big part of T's life go, but it is time for me to stick to the sweet memories - and gain some space in this tiny place as well!)
