Bird bounty

As I wake up I open the window to a violet sabrewing on the heliconia outside our cabin window. At breakfast we see montezuma’s oropendula - oropenduling, there are several of them, a pair of Hoffmann’s woodpecker, a hummingbird, Cherie’s Tanager, and a tiny blue and yellow euphonia- just to name a few. Beautiful butterflies abound-occasionally a morpho flutters through. Later taking time to catch the hummingbirds in action at the feeders by the waterfall - many failures but success enough to have one or two favourites
