Patchy Quality

With the children off school for the summer, but their appetites unabated, I'm thinking of ways to provide snakcs for them that don't involve vast quantities of crisps.

I'm also trying to get more into baking. So I figured I'd knock up some scones. My "helpers" were keen to "help", so it became a collaborative effort.

They're of fairly patchy quality, but they're very tasty, and will serve their purpose. And lessons learned for next time.

And this might be stretching the theme of "patch" to breaking point!
