They are good boys
Another busy day, I had to take a rest and delighted when Greyboy joined me, and of course Jack was keen to lie next to his brother, it’s love. Cat grooming commenced, more so from Greyboy with Jack occasionally returning the favour. Both are adorable, a special few minutes for the three of us.
The teapot behind the cats was a wedding present from my brother, also the cups are part of a long-standing set we can add to as and when needed. They come from Highland Stoneware, a small business based in Lochinver, north west Scotland.
In our early days we came across the pottery when it was based in porta cabins 50 plus years ago? Now they work from a modern, smart building producing expensive arty goods as well as day to day tableware. I’m not keen on the painted versions, preferring a plain finish, having just taken a quick look at their site I wouldn’t feel drawn to visit, however would feel happy to return for old times sake, I wonder if there are any original personnel in the area.
