Early April Showers

The weather continues to be cold, windy and wild. I used a dry hour in the morning to take the fallen part of our tree out of the neighbours‘ garden. P came out to help for a while, but didn’t stay long because of the cold. The neighbour also came out for a chat, but didn’t offer to help at all. So I did most of the cutting and sawing on my own, and now there’s a pile of wood and branches in our garden, which needs to be cut up and removed sometime soon.

At noon, B and I went for our weekend walk, hoping to stay dry. We didn’t. But at least we only got soaked in the last ten minutes of the walk, by the same  shower I had spotted coming our way and blipped just before.

Paperwork kept me busy in the afternoon, and now the weekend is almost over.
