Up extra early today to go to a work retirement breakfast. We somehow all managed to keep it secret so it was a good surprise and I think she enjoyed it. Nice to do something a bit different too (and always nice to have croissants).

Work was a real slog for everyone afterwards, the day felt very long. I made a quick dinner when I got home and then we went up the hill for Bean hugs and to learn how to play Crib. It was fun!
