Heron Fly By

I've had a great time today going out to dinner with a good friend to celebrate my birthday tomorrow (or, I should say, today, as I'm writing this tomorrow :)) That's two birthday meals so far. Isn't it great when celebrations are stretched over several days?

We went for a bit of a drive and a short stroll in the countryside beforehand - way too cold to linger outside for long!

I love photographing this Dutch barn in different seasons and today there was even a heron doing a fly by!
