Fire escape

this is just outside A+E where I spent most of the day with my mum. Sadly there seems to be no escape from A+E without doing time. My sister had taken her there yesterday evening and after 12 hours my mum had progressed from a chair to a trolley in a corridor. The staff were run off their feet and I'd forgotten quite how prolonged and inefficient the system was with each stage taken hours. Luckily my mum is rarely sick and the last time I'd experienced A+E with her was a few years ago. She did eventually escape with a diagnosis of shingles and a prescription .
