Stand Up

A very nice day today but, due to Mrs C not feeling too clever, we didn’t get out for a walk, though we did manage a coffee in town this morning. And I spent the afternoon doing the ironing!
However, the evening was much more entertaining. We went to see stand up comedian Andy Parsons (Mock The Week) at Lancaster Grand. Very funny he was too - not laugh out loud jokes, but the kind of observational humour I like, that makes you think about what is being said before he hits you with a punchline.
It was certainly good to have a few laughs tonight and a nice way to finish the weekend. We’ve booked tickets for a few more comedians this year, so it will be interesting to see how their styles compare.
And, due to the Grand’s rigid policy of no photography during performances, I’m afraid you’ll have settle for a photo of the empty stage rather than the man himself in action!
