Mountains of the Mind

No mountain-walking today; am tied to the computer in Edinburgh.

But yesterday's glorious journey, down from Glenfinnan, has got me glancing at W.H.Murray's classic, double-volume (as pictured & respectively written in 1947 and 1951) ...

... the second volume, 'Undiscovered Scotland', features many of the mountains in the area surrounding Loch Linnhe, which was looking so utterly stunning as I returned home yesterday afternoon :-)

Ah well ... at least we have another walking-expedition coming up next week; but this time, one of an entirely flat variety!
