Diary Blip (Sunday 24th March 2024)

Before moving stuff back into the newly restored outbuilding I need to decide on what needs doing to the decking while the room is empty, to improve the acoustics, the preservation and the look. I have also been rethinking rooms in the house, as I intend to set up the outbuilding differently to how it was before, and may radically alter the conservatory by repurposing some of its furniture to the outbuilding.

I did a spring clean in the conservatory and made it sparser but more usable. I decided I would get more use of some of the hardware there if I moved it to the kitchen, and so in addition to the DAB radio that was already there I have installed a small 20-year old Sony mini hi-fi system (so old it has provision for cassettes and minidiscs), a DVD/VHS recorder and yet another Samsung TV monitor by the kitchen window, and got it all working.
