34 years ago today...

...I met Chris. Chris took the day off today to spend with me as it's our meeting anniversary which we tend to celebrate more than our wedding anniversary.  After much consideration, we drove to Colemere, picking Dad up on the way. The weather was cold and promising rain but we didn't let that deter us. We intended to walk to Ellesmere along the Shropshire Union Canal but it was far too muddy and we got as far as the beautiful cottage by this bridge and decided to head back to the car. We did a full circuit of Colemere and then drove to the Boat House restaurant for a lovely lunch.  When we'd finished, we walked as far as we could around Ellesmere before returning to the car and home.  We got wet and muddy but had a lovely day out.
Thank you Chris for the last 34 years. You're a fantastic husband to our boys and you're my best friend. Love you, T. X
