The Bridge…..

A dog walker strides across the bridge with her dog racing ahead of her. Immediately upstream of the bridge the river water is clear and clean. A friend talked with a Council staff member who was testing the water recently. The test results were reassuring. Maisie had a good swim in that clean water this morning.
After a few chilly early mornings and cooler days the weather has warmed up again. An Indian Summer? But very little rain predicted. Most of the grapes have been harvested which is a relief for the vineyard owners.
