When the boat goes out

A sunny day today, on and off! I walked down to the town this morning to meet Daughter One, who had to pop over from Mull for an appointment. 

Went for a haircut then sat on a seat on the seafront for a while, watching the ferries come and go. My Blip today is a very standard Oban Blip - 'Isle of Mull' setting off back to Craignure, taken from Ardconnel Road.

Good to see the various spring flowers coming in in local gardens. Lots of shrubs in flower too - rhododendrons, magnolias and various forsythias. The tourists are beginning to come in - the new season has begun!

Getting on with some gardening this afternoon - mostly continuing with cleaning up and top-dressing the plants in pots, the easy stuff.
