In the sunshine

I took a few pictures over the back this morning of emerging leaves and the odd ladybird.  I tried following a male Brimstone but it wouldn’t stay still, just like the comma and peacock I came across.  I couldn’t photograph the chiffchaff with the macro lens and anyway it was up at the top of the Pin Oak.

Back home I sat outside with a cup of tea and my feet up, reading the second Mick Herron book, whilst listening to a buzzard, the chiffchaff, a male chaffinch, tits and a far off raven.  Bliss

Out to a photography talk this afternoon and now I have to get dinner before heading off to camera club earlier than usual for a meeting re speakers for next year before camera club proper.  Phew!
