… looking like a shadow of its former self but you know it will suddenly burst into life again, in fact some small shoots are growing already. It seemed like a metaphor for Preston who has lost a kilo of muscle since 9th March. He also fought two vets and an assistant while I held his tail as they had to cut off his first cast and clean his wound before recreating a new cast. This has to be repeated every two days until the wound heals over. We all agreed that fighting was good, he has energy again and the infection has gone. He says thanks to everyone for rooting for him.
