Lovely day

We met friends for a walk and lunch, great to catch up as we have not seen them for around six months. Was actually quite warm. Walked along the green space behind the house late afternoon, dogs favourite walk, again warm and dry.
Rained during dinner.
Finished my book and chose the next one to read, an old one written in 1950 and only 200 pages so may be able to read before we go away.
Also sorted books to take away, two novels and a biography. If it rains they will get read, if it doesn’t that will be fine.
