Snow, hail and gusty Spring.
I left early this morning for an Easter wreath workshop at Lathcoats with Katie W. In was in the outside barn with no doors, so wrapped up warm and had a lovely time. Hot Chocolate and a piece of cake included. Got a bit frustrated at the end as everyone has finished practically an hour before us, but pleased with the results with a spattering of peacock feathers, teasels and painted eggs. Good to catch up with Katie too. Just before we left, it absolutely humped it down, then hail all in swirling gusty wind. I then went to North Weald to pick FK up from a cadets five a side football session. Cars coming the other direction looked like they'd come through a snow storm.
The boys were very wet, but two of them had changed into dry tracksuit bottoms. FK hadn't taken any so he sat on an old towel with another over his legs. He was frozen and still full of cold and cough, so that won't have helped. MrK had finished work when we got back and had managed to get the covers on in time.
Chilled couple of hours, then MrK and I went to the Korean Rok Kitchen to pick up tea and had a beer while we waited.
Enjoyed today.
