Mill stream

A gloriously sunny day today. I had been planning to get the canoe on the river today but I've felt exhausted all day so I've spent it lying around and mainly asleep. In the early evening Jake and I took a very short walk along the Millstream in Abingdon (cut by 14th century monks from the medieval corporate powerhouse that was Abingdon Abbey). While we were strolling along taking in the ducks, swans and leafy shadows I finally got a text from Catie to say she was ok. Drove a meandering path home checking out some potential canoe put-ins on the way.

And then ack to the sofa...
