Veteran Funeral Escort

Myself and Mike escorted the funeral cortege from the Funeral Directors to the cemetery/crematorium at Coney Hill, Gloucester. It wasn't far but it was raining. Not to worry, Douglas Webb had a good send off and his daughter came across to thank us for doing the escort.
Douglas was a veteran of the Korean war and served for a long time ending up as a WO1 in the RAOC.
His daughter took this photograph with my phone after she took a photo of us with her phone. They are going to make a book of remembrance and we will be added to it.
Wish I'd thought on to undo my cut, it looks very tight but I've got a waterproof liner and a warm liner under that jacket, which is quite bulky in itself.
