Black Ivy

I have wanted to take this shot for a while. I have been fascinated over the last few months by how much fruit has been developing on most of the Ivy around us.  I have been waiting for it to mature, and I've photographed it out of focus twice, but finally decided I'd better try again before the fruit gets eaten!

I took four shots with only one in focus. I could blame the dog dragging on her lead, and the rain.  But it is me not being able to handle the macro function on my camera, coupled with somebody wanting to talk to me (or anyone tbh). So I rushed.

The rain adds to the glossyness, and I feel like the black fruit is a hidden treasure amongst the dense green foliage.
