Sad news

We received sad news: someone we knew from chess died in his sleep. We already met him at various tournaments when E was just starting to play, while H, as an experienced player, helped the youth along the way. Always friendly, and for me always the same greeting "Hi Chess Mom!" while he really knew my name. Always up for a chat, and always optimistic. A nice man. Many chess players, young and old will miss him enormously.
