Home, sweet home
The flight landed around an hour late and it took a while to get our luggage (always a stressful moment waiting for suitcases to appear) but thanks to valet parking we were soon on our way home. The M25 was busy and it was 'holiday, what holiday' but nice to be home. I checked the garden and greenhouse when I got back and was pleased to see my sweet peas has been looked after thanks to M who came and watered. The bulbs were in flower and looked magnificent and other colours are on their way.
I loaded washing machine while OH took himself off to A&E to get his ankle looked at. He was hit by a golf ball a few weeks ago and it's not getting any better, turns out its a fracture and now he has a massive boot thing to wear for a few weeks. Bless him, I feel l sad that I did not give him more sympathy.
Chatted to No.1 who had a good weekend in Amsterdam and we're both looking forward to seeing each others 'Glimpse' and hearing all about it.
Tesco delivery arrived and was put away and we found a new series to watch on Netflix. Same old, same old again but thankful to have had a holiday and can feast on the memories.
