Stripey

What a day!  We arrived at Zimanga around 1 PM and from the front entrance to the lodge (a drive of about 10 minutes) we saw an astonishing amount of wildlife including elephants, hippos, zebras and giraffes.  Once at the lodge, we signed all our waivers, had a briefing from our guides and then enjoyed a fantastic lunch.  By 3:30 we were piling into our small jeeps and heading out for game drives.  My group (Hilly, me and another woman named Beth) had wonderful afternoon with our guide Henry.  At the end of the drive he found a female leopard who was stalking an impala.  It was dark by then, but he put a light on her and we watched as she stalked through the grass, narrowly missing her prey.  Pics weren't great, but good enough for some memories.  

Back at the lodge we had a delicious dinner and now I'm ready to turn in for the night.
