Sea Guernsey
Not a beach, no sea and only a few flowers to be seen!! ;-)
This was a very quick blip on the way home from a lovely family bbq. This mast is on the biggest roundabout in the island in St Peter Port. It was erected as part of the Sea Guernsey 2005 celebrations to commemorate the Battle of Trafalgar. It was meant to be a temporary feature and stand only for six months. However, it still stands today and at Christmas it becomes the Tree of Joy and is adorned with thousands of tiny lights.
