Maundy Thursday

The weather has been so diabolical that even Hetty had no interest in venturing out!

Finally, there was a less wet spell at around 1pm so we grabbed the opportunity to venture out.

The Devizes to Westminster canoe race sets off tomorrow morning. The earliest canoes will leave at 5am and starts will stagger through the day.

The first race was in 1948. As rumours are afoot that this may be the last, I'll make an effort to walk to the Wharf tomorrow morning. Weather permitting!
