Orange

The kids' school is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year. This week is therefore Diamond Jubilee week and they have several events planned to mark the occasion.

One of these is a picnic and each House has to decorate their gazebo in House colours. My two are in the orange one! Becca has been a very busy bee. We have the orange hat (complete with Liberty print for Liberty House), orange flowers, orange paper chain, a glittery orange star, orange bunting and orange balloons.

Ollie has been at the British Grand Prix all weekend and has done nothing (some House Captain he is!) but Becca has kindly made his paper chain and decorated his star for him!

I spent most of the day lazing around in the garden drinking Pimms and reading. Well I had to make the most of the sunshine while it lasts!
