The sun has got his hat on

After heavy rain showers this morning, the sun came out this afternoon.

Back at the Cancer Research shop this morning, lovely to catch up with everyone, as well as get a couple of follow up thrillers by a Canadian author, Shari Lapena, who I had discovered while on the cruise. 

Also, I got a nice pin badge (see extra) given as part of the charity’s Flame of Hope Awards, as our shop and volunteers had been highly commended. I enjoy volunteering and I find being able to give something back to the wider society (even though it’s in ever such a small way), very satisfying.
