Dapple of Willow

Sunny and windy.  Really ready for the wind to drop.  
Attempting to make kimchi at home with none of the recommended ingredients.  The local supermarket has chinese cabbage and carrots, but the cabbage is prohibitively expensive. No chance of them having Korean pepper flakes.  I'm substituting normal cabbage and spices from the cupboard.  What can go wrong . . .
