Give me sunshine......

We needed some more yellow in the garden and these lilies are awaiting their appointed time for planting. Other jobs took priority today. For me, that meant stretching out on the sofa and finishing my book and generally enjoying not having to do anything in particular. Lazy Luxury indeed.

D, on the other hand, has done fantastically in the garden, although apparently the ground is very hard again and we could do with a really good downpour..(! NO!) I do a good coffee service, and the roast lamb dinner with roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings was rather delicious, so maybe that lets me off the gardening (sort of.)
