Birthday part three.... actual

Alec and Billy stayed over, so joined us for hangovers, pancakes, presents, and cake. With a (probably slightly overwhelming) background soundtrack of a lot of noise and constant talking and squealing and running about and with Billy being roped in to blow up an inflatable car, and them both getting to watch Rohan's two dances from her streetdance show.
They may have (a wee bit) relieved to get into the peace and quiet of the car with Gordon.
The rest of us (after a fair bit of plodding around tidying), went to the garage and bought fishing nets, and went to the river. Noah caught a tiddler immediately, the only one of the day. We splashed and played football and Luka fell in (naturally), so returned home in a soggy nappy and his lovely new birthday jacket.
