Three Lights

Three lights showing is good! I’m still having to pinch myself but after only 6 months waiting we now have fibre into the flat. We got lucky - the engineer didn’t work for OpenReach but was sub-contracting which meant no shortcuts, no arguments and a really good job. He even left me his contact number in case of any problems! Now I just need to get out the white paint for the twenty metres of black cable that’s snaking it’s way through the bedroom and hall but that’s a small price to pay. Oh, and the phone still works!
Had high hopes for the tenpin tonight but they were dashed like pebbles on the shore. Nul points and a sore shoulder to boot.

PS - I spoke too soon; the phone line’s stopped working!
