Frosty with a dusting of snow, at the lower lochan, Inverness Campus... a bus day.
Wee wander around the lochans at lunchtime. The adult Mute Swans were chasing off all the cygnets, with most of the six surviving youngsters hiding in various reedbeds. Such a change from a week ago, when they were all close together in a little area that was clear of ice.
Male long-tailed duck still about, and he seemed to be keeping company with a female goldeneye.
Extra - one of the cygnets takes refuge in a reedbed.
