Good fly day
With George's shift starting at noon, we didn't have loads of time to spend at the Museum of Flight, but it was a worthwhile visit.
George had been keen on going onto the Comet. While we were talking to the volunteer on board, he mentioned that the Conservation Hangar was open - a bit of a rare event, he said.
The volunteer in the hangar told us the stories behind the planes - and bits of planes - they have there. According to him, if the nuclear weapons it contains weren't decommissioned, the hangar would be the world's tenth nuclear power.
Suspected that was either a tall tale, or there's a pretty big drop-off after the top nuclear powers.
