Being a proper tourist

Had a small trip out to this sight. Had hoped it would be walkable from my hotel but sadly it wasn’t. 30 minutes free parking was plenty to have a look at the view without feeling too bustled and busy with the mass of school trips. It was relatively quiet today but the size of all the car park areas suggests this is now a huge tourist draw. I can’t imagine what it’s like in summer.

An easy late afternoon with a rest and then eve meal planned before a very early start for the next stage.
