That unexpected bright thing in the sky!

Woke to glorious sunshine; a lovely surprise!

Decided to take the short walk down to the nearest village, Rosedale Abbey, for some food. And even though we had Bill's buggy with us he managed the 0.63 mile (!) walk there and we all had the most wonderful brunch - Bill had some bacon fat!

A wee wander around the village, including a visit to the glass-blowing studio (a return visit will be paid!) and after walking back to our cottage we then drove into Pickering for an explore and to get some food for dinner.

Relaxing evening and started to make a rough plan for the week ahead; there's lots of different options to choose from!

These trees are literally right outside our cottage - my blip was taken on the way back from the village and the extra on the way in!
