And the sun broke through….

……. The low bank of clouds in the east.. We had a light frost this morning., Frost on the footbridge, frost on the grass. Not a lot but enough to require wearing gloves. And I wore my old purple hat with pompom and ear flaps. Maisie and I walked upstream as far as the Omaka Ford and Recycling Centre and back. Roughly 8 km. Sunshine mostly until the sky clouded over and the weather stayed chilly all day with some drizzle late afternoon.
Later this morning I visited and sat with a close friend. Lots of chat…… and lunch when another friend joined us.
