High Atlas Mountains
Today was a special day, a minibus trip to the Atlas Mountains led by a talented young man called Mohammed. He spoke four or five languages fluently and could flip between them with ease. He was part Berber, part Arabic. He took us to five valleys in the mountains and we had lunch with a Berber family near to where this photo was taken. The earthquake damage from a year ago is evident throughout the region, as can be seen in this building. The mountain scenery was breathtaking and we were lucky that the weather was kind to us. A really good day.
