SOUTHWARK CATHEDRAL

This morning The Rev and I went up to the cathedral for the Maundy Thursday service. It’s always powerful….blessing the oil for the clergy to use in the year ahead and some great words.

Bishop: “Don’t let anxiety eat away at hope”

Dean: “ Always start each day with a smile and get it over with “ :)))

The Dean is new and his predecessor was very loved with a fantastic sense of humour. Initially his speech was serious but gradually the humour came in. He got it spot on.

After a quick sandwich lunch and a bit of networking we had to leave as I had to attend an online meeting for one of our vulnerable lads. Then answered some emails and a few phone calls to head. Love that we are given EHCP deadlines that start and end within the holidays. So unfair.
