In passing

Between showers, took a walk by the lake. At first it seemed that all the usual inhabitants had gone away for the weekend. And then we spotted the blue heron, very still hiding in the bushes. It walked out of the bushes quietly, not at all concerned by our presence less than 10 m away.

It's only when we got closer that it took of. Beautiful moment.
