In the lambing shed

Friend H let me accompany her to work today. A very special morning as I watched the new mothers bonding with their lambs. There were dozens of new borns, some still wobbly on their legs and some still under a lamp for extra warmth. Others were snuggling up on the straw bedding or nuzzling for milk. Such a lovely sight.
