Summer Weeds

I love this big patch of daisies.... I don't care if they're weeds. Last year B.C. Hydro Electric did some work around these towers for their high voltage wires coming from mainland Canada, across the Gulf Islands (including ours) to Vancouver Island. The daisies grow in the disturbed soil, and after that the Scots Broom (You can see a bit of that coming up lower right) - but this year it's glorious there. You can see where the wires come across Galiano Island to the NE of us - that white crescent is a beach on Galiano. One might call this right of way on our property way at the top of the hill a bummer, but without it, we wouldn't have such great views. (and the electricity is pretty nice to have too! and we can't see this from our cabin) I'll mark the map if you are interested.....
