and helmets. The cake is known as tree cake and is cooked on a skewer that is rotated over hot coals.  It was tasty. We were in a different part of town to go to a knights jousting thing, hence the helmets. Medieval reenacting seems to be a thing here. The dressing up isn't my thing but it was cool to see others enjoying it. Drinking horns were the chalice of choice today. The fire juggling and music were the best bits.
